Young professionals in Leeds will benefit from a new network aimed at supporting personal growth and providing networking opportunities.
The Fresh Prosperity Program aims to foster the wealth of knowledge and skills of professionals in the dealmaking community. Former Leeds Rhino Jamie Jones Buchanan MBE and performance psychologist Simon Hartley attended the inaugural event. The event helped attendees gain a “unparalleled mindset”.
Mel Hird, Director of Fresh Thinking Capital, commented: Fresh Thinking Network provides valuable training to help you develop professionally and meet all-important CPD time.
“We hope that new forums will be created for young people to come together and discuss today’s issues. The strength of our dealmaking and advisory community rests on a strong network.
“Professionals with the best connections are best suited to proactively solve problems. Ultimately, collective efforts drive growth, create jobs, and build a better economy. It helps.”
The network is backed by Fresh Thinking Capital and hosts monthly events offering networking opportunities and training seminars with “inspirational” speakers. It is supported by a broad trading community of speakers from professional services firms.
We promise to offer a variety of ‘engaging’ events designed for young people. Upcoming speakers include mountaineer Dave Bunting, digital entrepreneur Tim Hyde and round-the-world yacht race winner Brendan Hall.
Niall Conlon, relationship manager at Fresh Thinking Capital, added:
“When we planned the network, we sought to develop events that teach lessons to make up for what professional credentials don’t teach.”
