TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) – Women in Music Canada (WIMC) has announced the first-ever WIMC Honors Award winners. The Honors aim to honor and support Canadian innovators and creators who have achieved remarkable success in their fields over the past year. The honor was presented to her 18 on Wednesday (March 8) night at the Toronto Opera House.
The WIMC Honor Roll recognizes up to 10 female and gender-diverse industry members or artists who are early in their careers and have demonstrated success and growth in their careers. It aims to highlight new voices in the Canadian music industry and these are the people to watch in the years to come.

The 2023 winners were selected by a finalist jury from a long list of nominees announced in February. For the longtime industry leaders we have dedicated ourselves to, we have decided to award two Trailblazer Awards this first year as a first step towards increasing the commitments WIMC continues to offer. .
