The latest entry in Netflix’s European palette, far away, Premiering on March 8, 2023, the feel-good film with a lot of self-exploration came to life.
steered by The Space Between Lines Written by Vanessa Jopp and Jane Einskoe, this German romantic comedy was a pretty solid meal, with good acting, a strong story, and plenty of room for self-development. Sadly it was pretty predictable.
Naomi Krauss as Zeynep Altyn, Goran Bogdan as Josip Sega, Adnan Malal as Ilyas Altin, Bahar Balch as Fiar Altyn, Aljom Gilts as Konrad, Davor Tomic as Drazen Sega played a role. It follows a woman who is pushed to the limit by her reckless family and decides to find her own adventures away after her opportunity presents itself.
Synopsis of far away read:
“Zeynep Altyn (Naomi Krauss) is in trouble. She is overworked and pushed aside by her husband, daughter and aging father. Her last straw: Zeynep – She leaves Munich and flees to an island in Croatia.
“She hopes to find peace, freedom and herself in the house her mother secretly bought many years ago and gifted to her in her will. If Josip hadn’t lived there yet, it would be the same property.”
The ending had a commotion unique to a comedy movie, but it ended with a rather bright atmosphere.

far away Ending Description: Are Zeynop and Ilyas back together?
To answer the lingering question first, no, Ilyas and Zeynop didn’t get back together. It followed Zeynep, with whom he developed a kinship. Josip and Zeynop’s developing relationship was the driving force behind most of the film’s runtime.
It eventually ended with the two making love near the finale far away. However, after discussing not seeing anyone for a long time, the two were caught by Fia the next morning. Fia was disgusted by her mother’s attitude at first, but with Zeynop’s explanation, the girl finally understood her mother’s thinking and reconciled.
However, Fia had told her father about it, and there was no malice. The next morning, Ilyas and Zeynop’s father came to the island, and a comical brawl broke out between the groups as Ilyas and Josip started fighting. This was the first time Zeinop decided to take control of the situation.
She asked her daughter to accompany her shopping, and ordered the others to sit down over dinner and settle everything politely. She also told Ilyas to speak privately.
Zeynop seemed to be going home with his family at the end of the year far away, However, she decides to follow her heart and reconcile with Josip. The film ended on a positive and warm note.
