Anxiety, a common emotion, makes us feel worried, stressed, or anxious. In many cases, you may feel anxious for no reason. Anxiety is how our bodies respond to stress triggers, or how our brains deal with low levels of serotonin.
Either way, feeling unstable and tense is not a pleasant experience. Dimple Jangda, founder of PRĀNA Healthcare and Academy for Ayurveda, recently shared a list of Ayurvedic remedies for anxiety.

1.) Oil. According to her post, the gentle but constant application of the oil stimulates healthy blood circulation to the brain and pituitary gland. Herbs and essences also provide relief.
2.) Ashwagandha is a plant that helps reduce anxiety.
3.) Brahmi is another plant associated with anxiety relief. It helps reduce the levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) in the body. It also increases concentration and activates brain cells.
4.) Sitting in camel pose can also help relieve stress. Dealing with anxiety is always a difficult task, but having self-care methods and habits can help reduce the severity of your suffering.
“Herbs such as Mandu Kaparni, Brahmi, Ashwagandha, Yashti Madhu, Jattamamushi and Amla have been found to reduce anxiety and relax the body and mind.
