CLINTON, South Carolina (FOX, Carolina) – Art activist Daniel Dancer uses his love of the arts to help children see the world differently.
Over the years, he has combined his passion for art with his passion for preserving the planet and made a living creating Art in the Sky. He uses his students to go from school to school, creating masterpieces that can only be seen from above.
“We made the endangered Frost Salamander, actually we call it Frosty. We said why not do an endangered species and found a picture of a salamander The dancer said,
After the grid is created, students fill in the spaces and dress each in a different colored outfit.
The dancer said that through his work, he not only teaches children about the animals they make, but also encourages them to be creative and use their talents to give back.
“Seeing their excitement, seeing through their eyes how they all worked together to create something truly amazing, I thought it was impossible. Seeing them witness it is why I do this work. It’s so beautiful.”
