The poolside at the ROK Hotel Kingston was the perfect place to kick off what was to become a historic event. An intimate Jamaican concert scheduled at Grizzlies Plantation Cove in St. Ann brings together veterans Buju Banton and Beres Hammond to thrill audiences with an unparalleled musical presentation. At a small incident held Thursday night, several entertainment industry favorites showed their love and support for two members of the Brotherhood who have made significant contributions to Jamaican music. What he didn’t get, Banton’s energy and charisma made up for it, and his presence shone in the crowd. On top of that the drinks and food made it an even more amazing experience. If the launch is a sign of the organization and quality expected on New Year’s Day, patrons are having a good time.
