The locally owned and operated music production and podcast studio officially opened Saturday afternoon in a big way.
StreamStudios, 4211 43rd St. celebrated the community’s grand opening with live entertainment and dining. The event also featured StreamStudios’ state-of-the-art digital recording studio.
Co-owner Joshua Stephany said the facility is Southeast Wisconsin’s first recording and production space, offering music production and recording, mixing, mastering, voice-over work, and more.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Stephanie said. “We wanted to create a place where people could come and do anything. We have a photo studio, a podcast studio, a studio and a demo booth. We do everything from production to voiceover work to literally anything related to audio and video.”

Stephanie, 33, and co-founder Lucas Webb, 33, have 30 years of combined music experience, from hip-hop and rock to classical and musical theater. Both are from Racine and are lifelong friends.
“This is awesome. Really awesome,” said Webb. “We’ve been doing it outside our homes for a long time, but now we can come to a place where everything is set up the way it should be set up.”
The duo will also create DMCA-free music playlists for digital video streamers on Twitch and YouTube, free for creators to use without fear of disabling monetization of their content. I’m doing it.
