San Luis Obispo County, California – San Luis Obispo County will be accepting grant applications through 5:00 p.m. on April 3 for local nonprofit programs that support or complement, but do not duplicate, the county’s health and welfare programs .
Public and private nonprofits are eligible for community-based organizational and preventive health grants.
All submissions must be sent electronically to adadmingrants@co.slo.ca.us and questions may be sent to Olena Nagorna (805-781-5496) in the Administration Office.
Each grant application is reviewed by a community-based organizational/preventive health grant review board and recommended to the county administrative officer and oversight board.
San Luis Obispo County received $2 million in grant applications this year, but only $1.5 million was approved. Funding for 2023-24 must be approved by the Oversight Board at the June Budget Hearing.
