long-awaited Daisy Jones & The Six The live-action version will premiere as part of the Prime Video schedule from February 27th to March 5th.
Streaming service drops first installment of Daisy Jones & The Six The show was created by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, with Neustadter and Will Graham serving as showrunners and executive producers. Contains 24 original songs by the cast.
The synopsis reads, “Limited musical drama series depicting the rise and fall of famous rock bands.” “In 1977, Daisy Jones and the Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two charismatic lead singers, Daisy Jones and Billy Dunn, the band rose from obscurity to fame. And after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits. It’s the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its power.
Riley Keough as Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunn, Camila Morrone as Camilla Dunn, Will Harrison as Graham Dunn, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Cirko, Eddie Roundtree Josh Whitehouse as Warren Rose, Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rose, Navija Bee Jackson as Simone, Tom Wright as Teddy Price and Timothy Olyphant as Rod Reyes.
Executive producers are Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter (Hello Sunshine), Brad Mendelsohn (Circle of Confusion) and James Ponsoldt (Reid), with Reid set as the producer. Featuring original songs by Grammy-nominated producer Blake Mills and many other talented collaborators.
