Pets are part of the family for parents and it always hurts when they go missing. Pet parents never give up hope of getting them back, but the chances of them actually coming back are often slim. The story of their reunion will impress people and may have the same effect on you.

Henrico Police shared the video on his official Instagram page. “No more lost! After being missing for nine years – yes, you read that right – and Piper the cat you thought was gone forever, he’s back home with his owner! ’ they wrote. “On February 21, 2023, the Henrico County Police Department of Animal Welfare received a call from a resident regarding a stray cat that would not leave the balcony. Animal protection officers responded and brought the cat to our shelter. She was scanned for a microchip and found to have it! !” they added. In the next few lines, I talked about how a pet mom responded to a call about her missing cat. Confirmed missing and excited to hear the news. After a long search, the owner finally marked her as deceased to the microchip company. Clearly there were other plans, and this white-gloved cat has been all to himself for a while, but we’re happy Piper is back with his owner,” they added.
