Kennesaw, Georgia – The Kennesaw State Women’s Tennis Team will continue the season in Florida as the team will face Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University. Owl finished her four games at homestand and is looking for her sixth overall win.

The FIU went 17-5 overall and 5-1 in Conference USA last season. The Panthers are currently 6-3 overall and 1-0 in the conference. Two players are returning from the 2021-22 season.
Series vs FAU
Thursday’s match will be the second ever meeting between the two programs. In his 2009-10 season KSU had his tight 4-3 win over FAU.

Saturday’s game against the Panthers will be the first ever game between the two programs.

The Kennesaw women’s tennis team secured a 5-2 win on February 28 to secure their fourth straight home court victory over Georgia.
The Owls started strong, scoring double points over the Panthers.
Kennesaw State continued its momentum, scoring four points in the singles match and claiming a victory over Georgia State.
Izabelle Perrson scored Kennesaw State’s first match point with a bye out of GSU. Ji Yun Lee delivered a dominant performance by beating Michelle Ncube 6-4, 6-1. Sofia Madrid scored her points in her third match for the Owls, defeating Prajna Kumar by her 6-3 6-2.
Sofia Unger secured the final singles match point with a 2-6 6-4 10-6 win over Maria Paredes.
