
Overport’s own Aadila Bobat, also known as The Rock Workout, can add the South African semi-finalist to an impressive resume by joining the 2023 class.
Bobat was announced as a semi-finalist on Friday, February 3, after a national casting event held at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg.
Following the announcements, semi-finalists participated in a packed two-day conference filled with motivational talks, workshops, upskilling sessions, social and networking opportunities, and SA sister introductions.
“I am overwhelmed to know that I have been given the opportunity to participate in something so important,” Bobat said.

Commenting on her decision to participate, Bobat said: This is the beginning of a new chapter in my story. ”
As part of her journey, she wants to give more time to babies in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) whose parents are working or have another job.
“I want to help families cope with this traumatic time in their lives,” she said.
This year, the casting panel was looking for a woman who has a strong interest in empowering others, demonstrates strong family values, and is passionate about making a difference in her community and the world.
“I was blown away by the number of high quality entries this year and am deeply grateful to have met so many amazing women from all walks of life. National Casting Day was very difficult because of the stuff Aadila Bobat perfectly embodies the values Mrs. SA holds dearest and represents this year’s tagline #EveryWoman I look forward to embarking on this journey with her and her fellow sisters,” Johnson concluded.
