Last night, rugby and reality TV star Levi Davis disappeared while on a trip to see his mates in Barcelona.
The former Bath and England player, 24, has been missing for eight days after taking a boat from Ibiza to the Catalan capital.
He told his close friend Richard Squire that he was going to see his mates, but the last time he posted a video was from an Old Irish Pub off La Rambla, a tourist street in town.
The star, who appeared on X Factor: Celebrity and Celebs Go Dating, allegedly walked away abruptly with nothing but a small black backpack and no clothes or cash.
Richard, 46, who lives in Ibiza and was last in touch with him, said:
“However, he did not say who they were and we have not heard from him since receiving the video from The Irish Pub on October 29th.
“I haven’t heard from him since. His family and everyone who knew him are getting more and more concerned.”
Levi left all his belongings at a friend’s house and did not appear in the pub clip or speak.
In 2020, the Birmingham-born winger and recent transfer to Worthing Raiders became the first professional player to come out as bisexual.
A concerned mother, Julie, 51, said: “Levi’s been pretty depressed lately and we are so worried to see how he’s gone.
“He left everything in Ibiza and left.
“He said he wanted space to clear his head and left his medication behind.
“Everyone who loves him is so worried and desperate that all they can do is reach out to Levi or anyone who has seen him to calm their minds.”
Former England rugby star Ben Foden said:
“He’s a kind, talented soul and I’m proud to call him a friend.
“He has courageously shared his personal struggles with sexuality and mental health with the public, and it’s important that he now knows how much he is loved and the support available to him. .
