According to royal biographer Tom Bauer, Meghan Markle was “surprised” to learn that Prince Harry “had very little money.” The author of ‘Revenge: The War of Meghan, Harry and the Windsors’ claimed to Dan Wootton on GB News.
In his interview, Bauer said the very reason Meghan married Harry was so that she could “command a private jet” and now she “begs” for those things. Describing her as “obsessed with money,” the author said of Meghan:
“She imagined he was worth hundreds of millions, if not billions. Now she has to make up for it. She wants to drive a big Cadillac.” I’m thinking…of things.”

Commentator Daniela Elzer, agreeing with Bower’s assertion, wrote in the New Zealand Herald:
She said that while Meghan and Harry reportedly made over $100 million from their recent Netflix deal, there are many hidden costs, including production staff and production costs. He stressed that among the princess’ circle of friends are Oprah, worth $3.9 billion, and Ellen DeGeneres and his wife, worth $609 million.
