Seven-year-old Mara is the quintessential Lottie, calm and confident.
Mara came to the Houston Humane Society in August as a survivor of atrocities. She was severely underweight at the time, but her veterinarian was able to bring her back to health.
Mara loves treats, knows tricks like sitting, staying, and kneeling, and is a big fan of squeaky toys. She is perfect for families with children.
Mara has filariasis and her treatment is sponsored!
Meet Mara at the Houston Human Society at 14700 Almeda Road. In Southwest Houston, it’s open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 5:30 PM. If you are interested in welcoming Mara into your home, you can begin the adoption process immediately by completing this form.
