Meatballs came to us through the Humane Investigations Department when they were left outside in bad weather. After her arrival, she was also found to be filaria-positive. Meatballs are now available through her adoption program. What that means is that we hope she will be able to get her heartworm treatment at her forever home, and after that is completed, APL will complete the adoption. Meatball has had a tough life so far, but now she’s looking for a quiet, quiet place to rest, get healthy, and cuddle with the people who love her!
