Paris — LVMH Métiers d’Art announced Monday that it is expanding its range of artistry and craftsmanship with the creation of LVMH Métiers d’Art Japan.

Norbert Rouret, president of LVMH Japan, said the decision will strengthen the existing strong links between the group’s brands and the Japanese artistic and craftsmanship landscape.
After studying in France, Helming LVMH Métiers d’Art Japan worked in the Group’s watch and jewelry division in Japan, where he worked in marketing and communications for luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer, and later joined the Group’s strategy division. LVMH Métiers d’Art was founded in 2015 to help conglomerate Métiers d’Art build and maintain strong sourcing of rare materials, the same year it acquired a stake in the Spanish tannery Ribagicha, Acquired Masoni, an Italian tannery. As of 2019, and more recently, it holds a majority stake in Heng Long Italy and a minority stake in Robans, a leather and suede artisanal ready-to-wear maker.
