AUSTIN, Texas – February 28, 2023 – KUTX 98.9, an Austin music experience, teams up with historic Scholzgarten to connect music fans with some of the most anticipated artists at the 2023 SXSW Music Conference . The Sports Team was also present, along with up-and-coming artists such as The Heavy Heavy, Baby Rose and Pearl & The Oysters.
KUTX 98.9 will broadcast four live early morning broadcasts from the historic Scholzgarten from Wednesday 15th March to Friday 17th March from 7am to 11am. Saturday, March 18, 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Events are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is he $10 per person. Children 10 and under are free (cash or credit card). All money raised will be donated to the Central Texas Food Bank. Breakfast tacos are available for purchase and unlimited coffee.

Wednesday, March 15th
7 a.m. Austin’s Jane Ellen Bryant and Daniel Leopold Collaborate on Pop Jane LeoDrawing influences from The Cars to Lee Hazlewood to Nancy Sinatra, they pushed their music into evocative new spaces with moody synths, throbbing backbeats and soaring pop melodies. .
8 a.m. Atlanta-based singer-songwriter baby rose (one of the Slingshot Artists of 2023) has one of the most distinct voices in R&B right now.
British Rockers at 9am heavy heavy (Will Turner and Georgie Fuller) pay tribute to rock’n’roll’s golden ear with killer harmonies and fuzzy guitars reminiscent of CCR, The Rolling Stones and The Hollies.

7 am Austin’s Deezie Brown and Jake Lloyd are prominent figures in hip-hop and rap artistry, both known as: Geto Galawriting the next chapter of Southern Rap.
8 a.m. Rocking guitar riffs and hammer-rock hooks, New Jersey rockers Ron Gallo A master of satire who knows the world is in free fall and is willing to give us a ride.
9 am in North Carolina Indigo de Sousa A young powerhouse vocalist bursting with inner monologues full of passion and emotion.
10 a.m. Power pop anthems, angled post-punk and rockabilly are just beginning to explain. of a sports team Sound (2021 Slingshot Artists to Watch). Rick McNulty says these Brits are celebrating Salad Day by making indie rock evocative and hilarious again while discovering the perfect blend of Pavement and The Strokes.
Friday March 17th
7 a.m. Brooklyn-based musician and producer Barry (Barry Lindsay) creates detached pop music that reflects what The New York Times describes as a “kaleidoscopic inner world”.
8 am in Austin caramelo haze – Austin’s all-star gathering of A-list talent – is a stew of swirling hues, including funk, cumbia, soul, Colombian folk and psychedelia.
9 a.m. London-based Nigerian-born Steven Umor, aka obonjayar Their debut track, “Some Nights, I Dream of Doors,” fuses hip-hop and R&B with the hallmarks of their home country’s sound.
10 a.m. Mexico City inspired by 90’s and Y2K R&B girl ultra (Mariana de Miguel) is the definition of an up-and-coming. She popped with her hit “Punk” and appeared on Adrian Quesada’s breakthrough album Bolero Psychodericos.
Saturday, March 18th

9 am parisian Pearl & Oysters (Juliette Pearl Davis and Joachim Polack) present fun, uplifting pop music that draws from space-age pop, novelty music, and the classic sound of their hometown.
10 am in North Carolina nude party It creates innocent garage rock with an infectious charm. Their new album ‘Rides On’ is positive evidence.
11am San Diego Trio holy soul – named after their homage to the formative soul music they all adore – is lighter than air with easy rhythms and lead singer Josh Lane channeling the early soul sounds of The Impressions and Marvin Gaye. It features a falsetto.
