Saturday from 10am to 3pm, the Get Great Stuff Local Art and Gifts Fair brought the Duluth community together for some early holiday shopping.
Held at the Church of Peace in Duluth, this year marks the 13th fair. About 20 vendors participated in Saturday’s event, ranging from jewelry to art to home décor.
Wendy Grethen, the local art fair coordinator, says it’s really cool for shoppers to be next to the artists who make the products.
“It’s fun to support your local community, and it’s fun to meet people who make things. Some booths allow you to choose from a variety of things in one space,” says Wendy.
Scheduled for December, Wendy says there are two more fairs like the Get Great Stuff Fair.
If you missed Saturday’s event, keep an eye out for the Get It Local fair on December 3rd and the Neighbor Made fair on December 10th.
