FirstBank Amphitheater’s 2022 concert season featured legendary performances from Miranda Lambert, Nine Inch Nails, Cody Johnson, Willie Nelson, Third Eye Blind, Halsey, Earth Wind & Fire and more. Artists participated in guitar auctions and signed Gibson classic electric or acoustic guitars to be auctioned for great community causes.
“We experienced overwhelming participation from performers throughout the season,” says FirstBank Amphitheater owner Rick McEachern. He is an aspiring musician. ”
In its premiere season, the auction raised over $17,000. This second annual guitar auction raised over $33,000, bringing the total back to Williamson County well over his $47,000!
“We are delighted that the Gibson Gives and FirstBank Amphitheater programs are growing and impacting local music education in schools,” said Dendy Jarrett, Executive Director of Gibson Gives. “This program demonstrates Gibson’s commitment to the Nashville area and helping children reach their dreams.”
Proceeds from the guitar auction will benefit the Williamson County Public Schools Music Education Initiative.
