TEXARKANA, TX — Christus St. Michael Health System will build a new emergency center on the northeast corner of Gibson Lane and Arista Boulevard in Texarkana on March 28.
Construction on the 12,000-square-foot facility will begin after groundbreaking and is expected to be completed in summer 2024.
An investment of over $17 million, the new facility will offer 12 treatment rooms, state-of-the-art full-service imaging and 24-hour emergency services, including on-site testing services. Additionally, the facility’s site is easily accessible and designed with future development in mind.

Medical staff includes board-certified emergency medicine physicians who specialize in attending to the immediate needs of patients suffering from minor illnesses, emergency medical conditions, fractures, or more serious injuries and illnesses. Includes nurses.
