San Antonio – According to San Antonio Pets Alive, a dog found in the streets of San Antonio officially gets a forever home after years of horrific abuse.
Odin, a two-year-old dog, was found wandering the streets six weeks ago with deep cuts and injuries to his face, neck, eyes and legs.
Adopted by his foster mother, Pamela, Odin received the care and treatment he needed. I was prescribed painkillers, antibiotics and eye drops.
“The first night Odin arrived at my house, he was terrified. He just lay there and didn’t want to eat or drink,” Pamela said.
SAPA says that through foster care, Odin learned to love and trust humans again.
“This shows what a lot of TLC can do for animals in need!” Sapa said.
Odin is no longer said to be exhausted, but a loving and kind spirit who has found pure happiness with his foster family.
Pamela has adopted Odin and is happy to give him the chance to live the life he deserves.
“He’s come a long way! We’ve been through a lot together, but he was such a good boy that I decided to adopt him!” Pamela said.
