Driving can be stressful due to bad drivers on roads, bad weather, and of course traffic jams. There is a nature.

Familiarity with road signs is important if you want to be a good driver. Not only do you have to pass your driving test, but it keeps you and other drivers safe on the road. This post describes 6 Android apps that can help you learn almost any street sign.

    1. Traffic signs and road signs

Traffic & Road Signs is an app to help you pass your driving test. It has a catalog of almost every street sign in the US and includes some quizzes to test your knowledge.

The Signs section of the app provides information on the myriad of signs found on US roads. Tap a symbol to see a short description of its meaning. Once you’ve familiarized yourself with most of them, you can try the test or play one of the two games.

Both practice exams have a time limit of 2 minutes each. The first displays a symbol and asks what it means, the second displays a description and asks you to select the correct symbol. These tests can be a little tricky at first, but you’ll quickly realize that most road signs look strangely similar.

There is also a memory game and a Guess The Sign activity. The first asks you to find matching pairs of street signs, the other asks you to guess the incomplete signs. Both are simple, but gamified to help you learn the signs.

    2. Mock Test USA & Street Signs

It’s a great alternative to the apps above if you want to take your time and learn about road signs at a slow pace. The app includes a comprehensive guide to road rules, tons of information about traffic lights, and 21 practice questions of 20 questions each to test your learning.

The app also has a dedicated section covering common US road signs, including regulations, warnings, and information signs. Tap any symbol on the screen and the app will display a short description with good examples of the particular symbol.

Another great feature gives you detailed insight into your progress[マイ テスト スコア]section. This section shows the number of tests attempted and the corresponding correct/incorrect answers. A total of 21 practice tests are included, so you can take them several times each day and[テストのスコア]We encourage you to check the section to see what we can improve.

    3. US Traffic and Road Signs

The US Traffic and Road Signs app is unique in classifying road signs based on type, shape and color. You can look at road signs from another perspective, so you can find specific elements and understand what the signs are trying to convey.

The app has a section with descriptions, examples and images of various road signs. You can sort the various categories to learn about the signs in any order you like. This way you not only learn about signs, but also why they are designed a certain way.

In the upper right corner is a test option consisting of 30 questions. The lack of a timer allows you to carefully read and answer questions, making the learning process a little friendlier. You can also track your progress in the same section.

After answering all 30 questions, return to the main menu and[テスト]again to answer a new set of questions. Unfortunately, we do not provide detailed statistics for every trial.

    4. Road Signs – US Traffic Rules

Get this app if you want a catalog of road signs always at your fingertips. Like the other apps on this list, this one also includes a quiz section and a catalog of street signs.

The catalog section has a categorized list of road signs. You can choose the category of symbols you want to learn. Every road sign in the list has a short description and you can scroll through different categories such as traffic, emergency, recreational and regulatory signs.

It also features a quiz section. Each quiz has a set of 20 random questions with no timer. After completing the quiz, you can review your mistakes and try all the questions you got wrong. The questions are different and randomized each time you try a new quiz.

Finally, the search function allows you to quickly find road signs. Enter a short description and the app instantly finds signs related to that description.

    5. Traffic Signs: Road Signs Game

Most of the apps on our list feature some sort of quiz or practice exam. The game is separate from the quiz section and features a progress bar to monitor progress.

So you have 3 lives and you have to guess the right symbol for each question. Earn stars as you progress and later use these to replenish your lives. The game itself is easy at the beginning, but becomes difficult when you start losing lives.

The quiz section is similar, you have a limited number of lives and you lose one for each wrong guess. However, once you run out of lives, you can continue your challenge by watching ads. Apart from that, it also features a catalog of signs so that you can be prepared before playing games or attempting quizzes.

    6. US Traffic/Road Signs

This app is especially interesting because it has many options. For example, you can browse the catalog, use flashcards, or play the Guess The Sign game to learn all about street signs. All of these different approaches mean that you can easily find what works for you.

Other than that, group the learning sections into problem sets. These are themed and some questions even talk about how to stay safe in the car. Finally, the quiz section also follows the same pattern as the question set. For example, if you remember the first study set correctly, you will easily be able to take the first quiz.

Become a master of US road signs

If you want to become a better driver, it’s important to recognize most of the road signs in the United States. With these Android apps, even seasoned drivers will find some apps unfamiliar. Sure, road signs can be complicated, but with a little determination, you can get used to most signs.

Additionally, you want to know about road signs not only to make you a better driver, but also to keep you safe in your car on long trips. Apart from that, it’s always important to be prepared for the unexpected when planning a long road trip.
