Choosing the best calendar app is very important for people with busy lives. Most of the apps share the same basic functionality, but each offers a unique set of features that are suitable for specific situations. Google Calendar works great and comes pre-installed on our favorite Android tablets, but if you’re looking for deeper integration or integration with some of the best Android apps, explore the many other options. It’s worth it.

We’ve collected the best calendar apps so you can easily find the one that’s right for you. But if you want something simpler, try one of these great task management apps instead.

    1 Google Calendar

Google Calendar is easy if you’re familiar with Google’s ecosystem. It’s free, works beautifully with other Google apps like Gmail, and has a beautiful Material You look for Pixel phone users.

Google Calendar integrates with other Google apps, so when you add an event it suggests name, location and contact details. You can also have Gmail scan emails containing event information (flights, meetings, etc.) and automatically add them to your calendar.

    2 simple calendar

    simple calendar 1

    simple calendar 2

Simple Calendar is one of the easiest calendar apps available for Android. Other apps try to pack as many features as possible, but Simple Calendar keeps things simple. But don’t be afraid to lose functionality. It may not boast smart suggestions or Material You design, but it gives you plenty of options to customize the app to your liking. It’s also part of the Simple Mobile Tools app suite, so you can build an open source ecosystem with a consistent theme.

    3 Karengu

    Karengu

    Karengoo-2

Calengoo is a versatile calendar app, but with a huge amount of customization options, it can seem a little overwhelming at first. One of its notable features is the range of 31 widgets (Google Calendar has 2). Each of these widgets can be further customized with options that allow you to completely change the look of your calendar. It’s not just custom. From Evernote integration to in-event to-do lists, it’s packed with features.

    Four Digital

    Digital-2

Digical is for people who like Google’s aesthetics but don’t want to use their own apps. It offers a clean, minimalist interface that offers integration with Material You. The core app is free, but we recommend upgrading to DigiCal+ if you want to use this as your main calendar app. This premium version removes ads and includes features like heat maps, where you can find free/busy times and detailed weather forecasts. Plus, it’s only $4.99.

    Five Calendar notification

    calendar notification-1

Calendar Notify is not a dedicated calendar app. It’s a companion app to the Calendar app. Calendar Notify adds upcoming events to your notification window lock screen and status bar. Perfect for those who juggle many events and want to know at a glance what happens. With a wealth of customization tools, you can tweak the app to show as much information as you want, or change the theme with just a few taps.

    6 Any.do Tasks and Calendar

    Anydo-1

    Anydo-3

Any.do is a combination to-do list, planner and calendar app. Many calendar apps offer functionality similar to Calendar, but Any.do feels like three separate apps rolled into one. Perfect for those who want a to-do list app, calendar app, and planner but don’t want to switch between apps too often. It doesn’t suffer from feature overload and is cleverly designed to give you everything you need at a glance.

    7 one calendar

    1 calendar 2

    1 calendar 1

One Calendar is a great way to see all your calendars in one place. Organize them into easy-to-read summaries and view them globally or by calendar. Many calendar apps offer this feature, but One Calendar’s uncluttered interface helps you get a clear overview of all your events. However, it lacks features, so it might not be the best solution if you’re not already using multiple calendars.

    8 time tree

    time tree

    time tree 2

TimeTree is a dedicated calendar app for sharing events with others. While other calendar apps let you add contacts to events and share events, TimeTree always offers a variety of features for organizing in groups. For example, each event has a chat room where you can discuss in a dedicated space or create separate calendars for each group. So if you organize and share many events, this is the app for you.

    9 calendar calendar by date

    Calendar-3

    Calendar-2

The name Calendar by Calendar Date may not be very exciting, but it offers great features. It feels like a stripped-down version of Any.do, so if you give it a try and find it a bit overwhelming, Calendar might be for you. Its minimalist interface helps keep things clean without losing detail, and navigating the app is very intuitive. So if what you want is simple, you’ve got it !

    Ten business calendar 2

    business calendar 1

    business calendar 2

If you’re struggling to migrate from Google Calendar, Business Calendar 2 is the first step. don’t worry about the name. This app is also suitable for personal use. Fully integrated with Google Calendar and can be installed on WearOS devices. Beyond this, it has all the features you’d expect from a calendar app, including planner views, heat maps, and schedule sharing.

Manage dates, times and locations with the best calendar app

Choosing a calendar app can be tricky, so we recommend setting up your calendar with Google Calendar and syncing it with a few other calendar apps. This method means you can try multiple calendar apps without getting the dates mixed up. However, if you want to keep your personal data as safe as possible, try one of these open source calendar apps.
